Aldente cooking and kitchen cafe is a place where friends and family come together to be inspired by rich Italian food and culture, fresh Yarra Valley produce and Mediterranean cuisine! We are situated at the stunning Billanook Estate winery 45 minutes east of Melbourne in the Yarra Valley.

Aldente cooking classes provide the opportunity to experience a traditional Italian feast. Our ‘banquet style’ classes are a fun, ‘hands-on’ and informative cooking lesson, where a 3 course meal is prepared and then enjoyed by all class participants.

Aldente kitchen cafe operates every Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12pm-5pm all other times/days by appointment. We bring you rustic home style Italian cooking, freshly made pastas, sauces & woodfired pizza, crafted to accompany Billanook Estate’s finest wines. Aldente kitchen cafe operates at Billanook Estate situated 45 minutes east of Melbourne in the Yarra Valley. Come in an enjoy the delights of home style Italian cooking. Freshly made pasta and sauces made on the day. Traditional Italian pizza cooked in a woodfired oven. Antipasto platters, cheese boards and a range of desserts to enjoy with a coffee or glass of wine.

Billanook Estate

Located in one of the prime positions of the Yarra valley that takes in spectacular views. you can savour fine estate wines in the friendly ambience of our cellar door and marvel at the breathtaking vista.

Opened in spring 2006 and located in a prime position on the vineyard to maximise the magnificent views of the valley. You can discover how quality grapes are grown to produce premium wines from a vigneron’s perspective or relax on the verandah and enjoy fine wines from our vineyard.
